About the Organization
5.1. Introduction
New Vision Nepal is an non-profit organization specifically for community relief project implementation. While Nepal has various socio-economic transformation plans, gaps still exist, requiring the support of non-governmental organizations. Currently, our focus areas include community development through health, education, disaster relief, water, sanitation, hygiene, agriculture, livelihood, and sustainable tourism. Promoting sustainable tourism through developing and opening new trekking routes; community development along the routes; development work for minority groups and excluded communities. The goal and mandate of New vision Nepal is also empowering disadvantaged groups, New Vision focuses on the transformation of communities through sustainable projects in WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), DRR (Disaster Risk Reduction), environment, tourism development, and inclusive-based programs.

5.2. Recent Achievements:
5.2.1. A Summit for Sustainability:
The first ascent to reach the summit of Ganchenpo (6378 m) from the Sindhupalchok slope symbolizes the promotion of sustainable tourism in the areas of Melamchi and Panch Pokhari. The expedition, involving 30 Nepalese and Italian members, aimed at opening a new circuit with the Langtang through the Langshing pass, contributing to economic development in the Langtang valley.
5.2.2. Homestay Training and Creation of Local Environmental Committee:
Collaborating with Prakriti Resort in Melamchi, New Vision organized training for homestays in Heibung, forming the Environment and Tourism committee as an NGO in support of the certification project.
5.2.3. Infrastructural Interventions for Family Accommodations:
Proposing structural interventions for family accommodations to enhance the attractiveness of homestay tourism and promote the authentic experience of local culture and lifestyle.
5.2.4. Training in Schools and Awareness Raising on Sustainability:
Conducting sustainability training at the school level to spread awareness and concrete actions for a more sustainable environment and better resource management.
5.2.5. Data Collection for Risk Management and Early Warning System:
Assessing the situation for management and future actions to prevent environmental disasters and responding effectively in case of floods and disasters.
